I'm a big band vocalist and I had a recent encounter with the entertainment director of a major cruise ship line. I do pretty much a Sinatra show but I was told they are looking for more "family entertainment", like magic shows, showbands, etc. In any event, it seemed illogical to me to want to do Vegas style shows, but also want "family" entertainment! If you've seen Vegas shows, they are not generally for families with young children. If anyone knows of vocalist openings for cruise ships, please contact me at mddimattia@aol.com.
