Does anyone know of any websites I can check out for props? I am looking for bean bags to place on kids shoulders for balance, scarves, hula hoops and any other kid of props to use in creative dance class. Thanks for your help!

Physical education catalogs carry many of the props one might use in a younger creative movement dance class. I have ordered from:
Gopher Sport
NASCO PE Equipment
Toledo Physical Education Supply (great prices0
FlagHouse
All carry scarves, beanbags, practice beams, rhythm sticks etc.
I make many of my own props and this helps make it much more affordable - just depends on what you're looking for.

Good luck.

The dollar store is your best friend when it comes to props! I have gotten bean bags, magic wands, fairy wings, and scarves all for super cheap. Check your local dollar store first.

I definately agree with the above poster. I love the dollar store! I've got wands, jump ropes, and streamers (the streamers were a big hit!) Also, if you have access to a sewing machine, bean bags are very easy to make. I always check the toy section of Walmart because it is much cheaper than buying off the internet. I found some great hula hoops at Walmart and the kids love them.
