I know ballet orginated from Italy but I seriously was taught that it was the french method my teacher must have been wrong. I never knew it was Italian. I studied the ballanchine way it's similar to vaganova, I hated it, but that's just me. I do like cechetti better when your training dancers in ballet, tap, & jazz. If I were training dancers to just do ballet or to be professionals I would choose vaganova. Thanks for making me feel stupid. Any ways, I'll research it on the internet more and think before I speak again.
