**BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FANS, JERSEY'S GOT YOU BACK
New Jersey stood up for its Boss this week when it sued a ticket-selling company for grossly overcharging fans for tickets to one of Bruce Springsteen's holiday concerts.
The Florida-based company is accused of charging a 275 percent markup on tickets to one of Springsteen's concerts in Asbury Park, New Jersey, last December, according to The Associated Press. New Jersey state law only allows for a 50 percent markup for the resale of concert tickets.
Gulf Coast Tickets is charged with reselling $100 tickets to the benefit concert for $375 each, selling tickets to a New Jersey event without having an in-state business address, and concealing a service charge from ticket buyers.
New Jersey Attorney General Peter C. Harvey, who announced the suit on Wednesday, claimed Gulf Coast tried to "cash in illegally on Bruce Springsteen's popularity and benevolence."
In the suit, filed in State Superior Court in Newark, the state is seeking restitution, penalties and costs.

***KELLY CLARKSON TRIES FOR ANOTHER "BREAKAWAY" HIT
Kelly Clarkson likes her current single so much she's stealing the title for her second album.
Due November 30, the follow-up to Thankful will be called Breakaway, which is the name of Clarkson's contribution to the "Princess Diaries 2" soundtrack (see "Avril Lavigne Helps Kelly Clarkson Become A Pop 'Princess' ").
"It's a little more rock than last time, but still has a lot of soul," the original "American Idol" said of the album in a message on her Web site.
Former Evanescence member Ben Moody (see "Ben Moody Bringing Kelly Clarkson's Music To Life"), Evanescence songwriter David Hodges, veteran pop producer Max Martin and red-hot producer John Shanks (Ashlee Simpson, Hilary Duff) are among Clarkson's collaborators on the album.
Clarkson has decided on "Since You've Been Gone" for the first single and will shoot the video next week with a yet-to-be-determined director, according to her RCA Records spokesperson.
"It's a big pop-rock song that kind of hits like 'Miss Independent,' but it's different and a bit more rock-sounding," Clarkson said.
Clarkson finished Breakaway last week, just in time to trek to Boston to sing "God Bless America" at the World Series. She also shot her second guest stint on "American Dreams," again playing Brenda Lee. The episode will air November 21, three days before Clarkson returns to the small screen in an "American Idol" holiday special.
In her Web site posting, Clarkson also informed fans of the status of her relationship with Hodges, whose new band recently signed with Epic Records.
"To clear the air, we were dating, it didn't work out, but we are still friends," she wrote.
