i know we dont have the cast up,but this is the entrance
and basically there are families,the cast will most likely be the same,but in case of anyting,everyone needs to show up to most of the rehearsals,except the lead roles(ie show up to the snow,party scene,battle scene,and corps)
but for any solo,if it is your part go if it isnt than dont,you can but its not required.This is for everyone to come,but not everyone will be in it

1-16 family 1 walks in,the girl in family runs to window and looks in,runs on,family keeps on walking

1-16 family 2 comes in,boy doesnt want to go,so they leave him outside,he stands there

1-16family 3 comes along,the girls all look and point and laugh at the boy that is standing outside ,boy gets fed up and runs inside

1-8 a little girl runs back across to get her mitten that fell off in family 2

1-8 screen rises up and shows inside the house

1-8 everyone talks and greets each other

1-4 one little girl(young)goes to maries mom and asks a question

5-8 chatting

1-4 fritz runs down the stairs (in socks),and hugs his dads leg for forgiveness,liek he is scared

5-8 marie runs down after him in her undergown with black ink all over it ,and is strying to hig fritz with a kite

1-4 father looks at fritzs hands,and there is ink on it,he sends both of them upstairs to get ready

5-8 all the children are laughing
1-16 everyone socializes,maid starts bringing food to the buffet table

1-8 fritz comes down with clean hands and shoes on
1-8 he talks with some others
1-8 marie comes down in gorgeous dress,almost as pretty as another girls,but not quite(marie is wearing flat shoes)
1-8 everyone goes to talk to marie all except 1 girl,who stands with her arms croseed

1-4 that one girl,named veronica goes to marie
5-8 she than shows everyone her new pretty shoes,(colored and decorated pointes!)
1-8 marie shows off some dance moves
1-8 so does veronica(en pointe)
1-16 2 other girls come over and do some irish dance
1-4 veronica and marie start fighting
5-8 parents break it up

1-4 maid comes in with some drinks
5-8 everyone grabs a drink and makes a toast

I love the last part especially...what a cute, creative scene.

I'm a party parent, so I'm reasonably sure I had to be here

that is just the outline and i have to group the parents and families with their kids
i will hopefully have the final cast up in 6 days or so
and some of the lead roles will change
and their will be 3 casts,so maybe you can have a chance to be soemthing you really want

I'm so excited!!! I love the whole "Look, I can dance better than you!" "No me!" "But my shoes are better!" sort of action between Clara and Veronica (actually, coincidence - girl who toured me around a school the other day was named Veronica, and we went to her dancing. I was better than her, and she was in her pointe shoes and I just did the pointe with no shoes. Very funny stuff)

Can't wait to start the regular rehearsals!!
