Hey everyone! I miss having the truth or dare, because it was a lot of fun. However, I also didn't want to get everyone mad at the VIS dorms again. So, I was super excited when I read the post that Dancing_Bianca made about it. Here's what she said {yes, credit to her, I copy-pasted this out of her post in attitude)

A different version of Truth or Dare this time! I was actually kind of sad that people complained about Truth or Dare 1, since I thought the game was fun... So here's a new version!

The method practically stays the same, you offer two options - a truth and a dare - and the next person can choose one (or do both! ). Though, there are some rules about the dares.

1. If you decide to do a dare that involves posting here: the dares may only involve things that positively contribute to Dance.net. So no more silly questions, pointless comments or space-waisting things, but useful posts in stead! For example: post a new game in the games forum, open a survey for the dorm, organize breakfast in Le Barre, post a useful thread about pointe in the ballet forum, put up a poll, reply to a survey, wish someone in the announcements forum good luck with upcoming auditions or something...
2. You are not allowed to notify people that this is a dare from Attitude dorm at the end of your post or something. This is to make sure that no one is 'embarrased' about their posts and that rule 1 is being followed. You can type something about VIS or Attitude at the end of the post if you want to.
3. No contacting other dance.net members, it could annoy them.
4. Please try to limit posting in the dorms, especially similar things. Yes, for example parties are positive contributions, but we don't need nine of them going on at once. Interaction is good, but nothing is still good when there's too much of it. Same goes for other forums: they don't need fifteen surveys at once either.

I would also like to introduce to you a new form of dares: websites beside dance.net. For example, you can dare someone to take a certain quiz on quizilla.com, tickle.com or ivillage.com or something and tell us the outcome, find their horoscope somewhere on the internet and tell us if can be interpreted as true, find a picture of a clothing item that they really want to have, post a funny joke, a website with halloween tips etc. etc. etc. Use some of these examples if you want to!

Soo... I'll get us started with

Truth: What is one thing that you think that plie as a whole (not just like, a few people, or the committes or whatever) could be doing better?

Dare: Go to predictions.astrology.com . . . and tell us who you were in a past life!

I choose... TRUTH!

I think that as a whole Plie I could be more active. Personally, I sometimes check plie i and do not post anything and then other times i go one or two days without checking the dorm. Whenever I am on dance.net and i check the 'hot' board there is almost always an attitude dorm post there. I just think that people need to be a little more commited.

Truth: Have you got a disfigured body part (ie. third nipple) and if so, what is it?

Dare: Go to Le Barre and suggest a way of making it more active.

ok, since Sammurphy forgot her truth/dare, I'll do the truth.

Umm, not like a third nipple, but I have hyperextension, abnormally short achilles tendons, and ... hmmm, there's got to be something else weird ... OH YEAH, DUH! It sounds really weird, but my shoulderblades are abnormally large. Not like, slightly larger than normal. Like, full on "Oh sh*t I can't buy this bra, it'll hurt my shoulderblades, does it come in a racerback or an x-back?" I can't buy certain leotards, bras, tank tops, etc, because it cuts into them and it hurts. I just got a new M. Stevens leo for my bday. I love it because its so pretty and the seams look nice, but it KILLS my shoulderblades. I'm wearing it for observation week though, I don't care. Grr.

Truth: Have you ever accidentally, erm, wet yourself?
(running out of truth ideas ... All that's left are the gross or juveneille ones... argh!)

Dare: Make a post that says how to add a picture of your room and tell people to add on what theirs look like (like, give the [image= blah blah blah] type of coding and stuff for web-based images, etc)

Edited by StageBrat (88259) on 2004-11-22 18:08:31 This is getting old, stupid page...
OK, so I went online and found a picture, say. Well, a web page. And I liked a pic on the page. So, I click on that picture and drag it into the space where the www. web site name.com stuff goes. It will give you the PICTURE's address, instead of the PAGE address. (I have a mac, though, so yours might be different. Unfortunately, this is the most important step!! :] ) Then, when you have the address, you paste it into the code [image=www . web page stuff .com/other page stuff .html] or whatever

SOO...

I found my image. I clicked on it on the web page and dragged it into the box. The address for it is www.hitthosekeys.com . . . So, I paste that into

[image= ]

to get Image hotlink - 'http://www.hitthosekeys.com/mare/images/blue_cheval.jpg'

And voila!! I just did my own dare, so you think of one Sammurphy! :]

Marian

PS The "web site name.com" stuff is just samples, not real pages, except fot the address for the blue horse image.
