Yep. That is our high school drill team (dance team). There are 9 girls on dance, and 13 all together. The others were cut from the dance portion, but will do military, and prop this year only. We do homegame hip hops and lyricals too. Depends on how far along we are a particular routine.
Being small has its advantages and disadvantages.
Several girls on the team also dance with the Red Rock Stars dance studio in town. There are around 50 girls on that team. so they pretty much dance year round. Some are instructors too.
It's all fun.  |
