Ok, this is a combonation of props, set flats, and a backdrop. Im going to attempt to create a sense of depth while retaining a "Victorian pop-up" appearance. It will be nice.

For the entrance to the family household, Im going to build this stage flat, that will be a Victorian Mansion door. It will be down stage and right....still in full view of the audience. So that way the Drosselmeyers can actually be seen entering the house. They will be off stage, behing the curtain, and then only see a tiny glimpse of them before they come to the door and knock.

Also here is a small photo of the living room. I took it from in the middle of the seating to give you a good idea of its size. Its sweet.
