First of all. In Swedish we have 3 extra letters. Å Ä and Ö. I think you can make ä and ö by first using ¨ and then a or o...making å is a problem though...
Anyway Å is pronounced as o in fork.
Ä is pronounced as a in any
and Ö is pronounced as i in girl.

I'm___years old...Jag är____år gammal

Do you pronouce all the other letters like we do in English?

So hej would be pronounced like the English word hedge?

Nope the letter j is almost always pronounced as y in young. YOu pronounce hej as hey...

I is always pronounces like i in in (strange sentence...lol)
NEVER like in ice.

K can be pronounced like c in camel and sh in shop.

it's hard to explain pronounciations..(sp?)
if you all like i'll try to write how the words should be pronounced too

Jag heter - Yag hEttar (in heter..really say T don't say heddar..)
Jag är__år gammal - Yag are__or gAmmel
Jag kommer från Amerika - Yag cOmmar fron America
England - Ängland (ä see above)
Tyskland - as i think you do pronounce it if you try..
Frankrike - FraankreekAY
Spanien - SpannEEän (think spaniel)
Italien - like italian
Sverige - SvÄreeah
Pratar du engelska - prAtar doo Ängelska (ng is like in sing...you don't say the g)
Franska - FrAAnska
Tyska - You know it
Spanska - You know this too
Italienska - ItaliEenska (the e is like ea in yeah)
Svenska - SvAnska
Tack - Tuck
Tack så mycket - Tuck sah mIcket
Var så god - Var sah good
