im working on my backcatches too and this stretch is what has helped me improve,

i lie on the floor with a dressing gown tie around my ankle and an end in each hand and i pull my leg as far as i can get it, of course making sure my other leg is flat on the floor.

hope this helps people :)

Great advice...
My daughter has been trying your tips for a while now and at night can quite often be found against her bedroom door with her dressing gown cord tied round her ankle ha ha...
But it works in just a few short weeks she has noticed that she can get her leg up much further than before.
It has also made her alot more flexible so thank you .

Heyy

great post and great advice.

My advice is to lie on your belly with arms and legs straight out, then ask someone to pull your arms up ( make sure theey are straight ) and your body should be in a "L" shape. And also put your head back. this should stretch your back and shoulders off.

And you could also tie your dressing gown tie thing to your ankle in pull it up and keep doing this !!

hope my advice is helpfull.

Love Rebecca xxx
