Ruby was one of the truly great contortionists from the USA. At the same time there was another as good called Merribeth Old. Both had excellent strength as well as VERY flexible joints and their performances were excellent. Ian (Contortion trainer)

urgh she can do the oversplits at the back too i didnt know that was possible lol, i can barely do an oversplit on one book without pain although i only tried that today lol. oh well better go practice.

Ruby Ring and Merribeth Old were two of the greatest contortionists. Neither were "skinny" as one poster puts it!

Both thoroughly enjoyed doing contortion as you can see from any pictures of them. Both were from the US.

Regrettably, Merribeth Old passed away a few years ago but, up until then she was a trainer and inspiration to young persons wanting to enjoy contortion. I had contact with Merribeth but not Ruby.

Their photos of contortion positions will live on for ever and are an inspiration to any girl who wants to take up contortion.

Oh, she resembles Marilyn Monroe! She's cute while doing it, some contortionists (like Irina Kazakova) are only boring to see pictures of, and never amazes you even if they bend like a sandwich.. But she looks so playful! uhm, I can lift my leg as high as that in the front, but I obviously have to continue working to get that back leg up as well. And I will have to wait until my backs gets recovered until I start bending it in splits again.
