I think that this sounds wonderful. I would like to express an interest in the two positions of News Hound and Contributing Writer. I think that I would have plenty of time to contribute to this website. I log on almost everyday to see what is new. I just recently was hired on at a small junior college in Oklahoma. I am the new Cheer/Dance Team Director/Coach. My job is to try to build up the program and even incorporate some dance classes into the curriculum. I am very excited. Please email me any other information that you may have. Thanks a bunch.

Shawnte', it sounds like you have the credentials to help dance.net and perhaps inspire others. I don't see your email address listed, so I can't email you more info. However, you can send email to editor@dance.net. Please be sure to include a writing sample and how much time you could commit to your positions. Thanks!

To the editor,
My name is Vanessa and I'm 21 yrs of age. Currently a hip hop choreographer (8.5 yrs and counting). I've taken 2yrs of gymnastics. I've been on cheerleading squads from middle school level to all star level (coed). Lots of experience working with experienced and nonexperienced dancers, gymnists, and cheerleaders. I've been training children for pageants for 8yrs. I love to spend my time helping others. If you've noticed I've been responding to others questions, problems, and needs already on dance.net. Since I've been responding, I receive atleast 5 emails from those that I've helped.
I'm not looking for pay, just responding to your volunteer work. Since I already do that, I hope that counts. I spend a couple of hours everyday on your web site. I enjoy helping others, unlike the critics that are very rude to children.
Just wanted dance.net to know that there are people responding, some aren't very nice, but we're all responding. I love your web site and I think that it's very useful.
If you need more information or help, let me know at v.carter@eudoramail.com
Thanks for your time,
Vanessa Carter |

I am highly interested in both positions. As requested, I will be sending you an email. For your reading, here is my short biography. Elsie Mufuka (chipo) Coker College graduate of 2008 of dual Bachelor of Art degrees in Dance and Communications, some of her references are The Amy Marshall Dance Company of New York City, The Wanda Project, and Choreographer/Mentor Natty Mncube. After her graduation in 2008, she accepted her first job in South Africa with Ntosana Contemporary Dance Theatre director Sello Pesa. For a year and half, Mufuka worked with this company as well as Taelo Dance Theatre-Gustin Makgeledisa, DTL Entertainment-Tumie Letsoenyo, and Lorcia Cooper. Not only as a dancer but administrator, executive assistant, and dance facilitator. As a dance facilitator, Mufuka has proved to transform anyone into his or her inner dancer. This was evident in her additional work of teaching in the townships of Soweto and Alexandra, South Africa. Both internationally and locally, Mufuka has developed even more experience in her craft of dance. |
