Hi everyone! I've mostly posted over on the Highland site and am just taking time now to "Browse" around the rest of dance.net.

I am a certified Highland dance instructor (BATD), and teach in Northern Ontario - Timmins. I've never studied any other form of dance, not to say that I don't love all forms! Just never really had the time. Oh, wait, can't say that! I actually took a year for Step dancing. That was fun.

I have a very small studio in Timmins with a few serious competitors who are just moving up the ranks now. And started teaching at another studio about an hour away.

I used to compete in the '80's then life and such interfered. I am a "late in lifer" teacher. I just got certified in 2000 at the tender age of 30. What can I say, I missed it and would'nt trade dance for all the chocolate in the world!
