Hi guys! This was almost impossible, but I searched around, and managed to find some great shots of dancers who make up the future of Canadian dance. These are all from dance schools across the nation, and all of which are intensive, or pre-professional so to speak. I had to leave some schools out because they didn't have any pictures, so sorry if your fave is missing. I also mostly stuck to ballet, though there's some others in there that I love. I am going to do a professional company one next! That will be tough! Anways, enjoy. Maybe you recognize someone!!!!
PS, talk about too much time on your hands during a relationship breakup! Ahhh!

The girl in the Alberta Ballet School pictures is now in the Alberta Ballet Company, the boy in the Quinte Ballet School picture is now with Ballet Kelowna but unfortunately the little girl playing clara in that one injured her back because she didn't listen to her teachers and had to stop dancing.

Here are two more from Quinte. The girl at the front on the right is now at the Rock school and the girl behind here at the barre is... ME! Keep in mind this picture was taken 3 years ago.

Thought I would add...in the "highland dance world" Colleen Rintamaki from Ontario has won 9 world championship titles...not only that, she won them consecutively from 1996-2003!

Interesting that some of these photos are 15 years old...

This is only a taste of what you can find in Canadian dance... and really only covers the Ballet world. Canada also has some of the best contemporary and modern dance...
