My name is Michelle. I have been teaching for about 12 years now and it makes me feel old when my little ones grow up and I see them driving their cars! I have my own studio and we are in our second year. We do tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, lyrical, pointe. I started taking class when I was three but we didn't do anything. I remember when I was 7 and taking ballet and all we did was run around as buttlerflies. I probably loved it, but it did nothing for my technique. I finally got into a good school, but not till I was 14. I had a great bunch of teachers that taught me pretty much everything I know. I left there a few years ago and taught for a friend for a year and half before opening my own. I love to teach pretty much everything, and I love to see the dancers at the end of the year and see how much they have grown. Especially when one decides to come out of her shell and not worry about if she looks funny or not but dance because she loves it! I really enjoyed reading everyone's posts. thanks
