I have noticed a lot of replys happening here consisting of:

"Haha"
"LOL"
"Thats funny"
":D "

and various other comments less than 5 words.

In all honesty, to me it just looks like star farming. I understand if you think its funny, you'd like to tell the poster you appreciate it. So maybe just put in a bit more effort to your reposnses, like WHY you thought it was funny or any part you found incredibly hysterical.

And if you can't add anything to it, you don't have to say nything at all. Just because your laughing while reading the joke, doesn't mean you have to post a reply saying "LOL" and thats all. We don't always have to post our thoughts

So just a little vent thingy. Mods, remove this if you don't agree.

^ Really? Well I'm afraid that I, along with pretty much every other established member on the site, must disagree. Posting single word comments (or just short pharses such as haha, lol, aww, etc) is considered star farming, and is highly looked down upon at DDN. Since there's an exisitng rule about not star farming, Pokey was completley right to remind people of that rule!

You bring up an interesting point. If people dont have anything to say about a comment they just should'nt say anything. Just saying lol isnt really commenting. It would be just the same if you hadnt said anything. People should comment so that other people can look at it from other veiws.
