Hello everyone. Welcome to the second Miss VIS Pageant. To start off, I am going to introduce myself, then the judges, then all of the contestants. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
My name is Abby, also known as MirrorImageTwirl. I am 15 years old, and I live in the Attitude Dorm. I am Newsletter editor in Attitude, I am head of Le Barre, I am also the French Teacher, and I do the VIS Member of the Month. I also participate in other little activities around VIS, like The Wizard of Oz, Attitude's Grease, and Attitude's Fashion Show. Outside of VIS my whole life is Basically baton twirling and dance. I have twirled for 5 years, danced jazz and hip hop for 3, and danced lyrical for 1. At school I am in the band. I hope to be feature twirler next year. Tryouts are next month so wish me luck!
Now, introducing the judges.
Judge #1 is Pirouette15. She is 15 years old, and lives in the Attitude Dorm. She enjoys to dance, do drama, and listen to music. She just joined VIS, so she isn’t involved in much. But she is heading the Tap Department for the Dance & Arts Camp in June, she is also participating in the Wicard of Oz, and is involved with several other departments. She said, “I am looking forward to getting to know all the VISers by judging this!”
Judge #2 is Luv2Dance. She is 13 years old, and live in the Attitude Dorm. She likes to do ballet, Pointe, and to bowl. She is also a member of Attitude Dorm, the Dance.net Ballet Theater, Pointe by Pointe, and she is participating in the ballet department and Attitude’s Grease. She said, “I'm so excited to judge!”
Judge #3 is Highlandhottie. She is 17 years old, and lives in the Attitude Dorm. She mainly likes to do highland dancing, and she also has a part time job. In VIS, she is part head of the irish/highland department, the newbie helper in attitude dorm, a lunch lady in le barre, and a party planner for Le Barre also!
Now onto the Contestants!
Contestant #1 is Dance4Him731. She is 14 years old. She lives in the Attitude Dorm. She loves to dance. She dances ballet, Pointe, lyrical, tap, jazz, and modern. In VIS, she is Head of Ballet Department & Pointe by Pointe, VP for Attitude Dorm, Currently directing Wizard of Oz, and organizing the Summer Intensive!
Contestant #2 is GrishkoGIrl. She is 13 years old, and lives in Arabesque. She is involved in a lot of actvities. She takes ballet, pointe within ballet, Modern, Irish Step-dancing, and she has taken Jazz. She is in plays about once a year. She loves drama. She takes lacrosse in the summer and plays the flute. She loves musical theater and sing constantly! She is head of the Jazz dept. She is very active, takes classes in many depts, and loves participating in plays, ballets, and stuff like this! She said, “This should be really fun!”
Contestant #3 is Meltie_dancer6. She is 14 years old, and lives in Arabesque. She loves to sing and dance! She also loves arts and crafts, acting, etc. She has been in craft shows before, professional musicals, school musicals, fringe festival and dance festival. She takes ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and modern. She loves to do lyrical. She loves fashion designing, and she is thinking about becoming a fashion designer. She loves art, and she is the best at drawing portraits of people. She also plays soccer, and she used to take gymnastics. In VIS, she teaches stretch and strength in the jazz department, and also take classes there. She is also part of the lyrical department and the ballet department.
Contestant #4 is Jazzy_girl. She is 14 and lives in Attitude. She likes to do music, drama, dance, telephone, computer, TV, movies, singing, hanging out with friends, and go to parties! She is the VIS president, Attitude dorm president, and Music head.
Contestant #5 is Ballerena. She is 14, and she lives in Attitude. She really likes to dance. She is the Ballet Department's Ballet Basics teacher, and is also taking classes there, and she is active in Attitude dorm.
Contestant #6 is Dominique2. She is 13 and lives in Attitude. She enjoys to sing, dance, ride horses, swim, and to organize charity fundraisers. She is the events coordinator of Attitude, a lunch lady in Le Barre, and she teaches in the Academic department. She said, “This is going to be great!”
Contestant #7 has been disqualified due to not responding to my second post. I did PM her telling her to reply to it, but she never did.
Contestant #8 is Dancin-elise. She is 16 years old, and lives in Plie I. She likes dancing- ballet, jazz, tap, pointe; fashion design; beach. She also participates in ballet and jazz departments. She said, “I can't wait!”
Contestant #9 is Iamreeltreble. She is 14 and lives in Attitude. She does Irish dance and she is also very involved with drama. In VIS, she is a member of Attitude dorm and she teaches a class in the academic department.
Contestant #10 is Angelulu17. She is 17 years old, and she lives in Attitude. She has been baton twirling for 8 years. She is Le Barre’s and Attitude’s event coordinator. She is also a lunch lady in Le Barre, and is also always on time with her meals. She also tries to get VIS as active as possible with anything she can think of such as games. She said, “I love dance.net and think it is a great site to come to! This will be a lot of fun fun fun!”
Contestant #11 is Dancerbabe588. She lives in Arabesque. She loves to dance ballet, pointe, and jazz. She also loves to shop, go to the lake, and hang out with her friends. She is the past Vice President of VIS, she is in charge of the DPO housing, and was director of the first Miss VIS Pageant. She said, “I'm excited to be on the other side of the pageant this time! Can't wait!”
Contestant #12 is StageBrat. She is 13, and she lives in DPO. When she’s not doing homework, she likes doing ballet and pointe work, talking to her friends on the phone, listening to music, choreographing to show tunes, and to spend time on Dance.net! She is all over VIS! In addition to organizing the elections recently, she has a lot of nominations in various places. She is the DPO Vice-President, Head of the Dance Net Ballet Theatre, and very intensely involved with the Drama Department. She said, “I'm so excited that I get to be in the pageant this year! I missed the other Miss VIS competition by a hair, which was rather disappointing! Thanks for doing this Abby, I'm so excited!”
Contestant #13 is Miamisdancingqt08 is 14 and lives in Plie I. She like to dance, and play the piano, and do softball. She is not very active in VIS, because she just joined.
