Yep, time to add some photos to this long- lost forum.

This first picture is of the fall guard this year. I quit after about five weeks into the winter guard. We had gotten a new coach that year who was only concerned with winning-- while I was only concerned with having fun. It just kind of sucked because I was captain... But I had an amazing fall season.

My guard dancing around at UMass Amherst Band Day. Too bad I was sitting down when they snapped this. I'm the one leaning over in the blue jacket with the green shirt. I was very brightly colored that day. The two girls dancing are mine.


These are the people who taught flags/rifle to us at Umass Amherst when I went to DMA last summer.
Jackie (I think?), Donnie (the main man), Sarah (affectionately known as Rah-Rah), and Kristin (the rifle wench). They were amazing.


This was the entire band this year. If you look in the first row behind the bass drums-- I'm the second flag girl in from the left. With the silver flag. And-- since you're so interested in my life... the blonde drummer next to the girl drummer is my lovely boyfriend. He looks very unhappy in this picture though.

That's a small band...yall look pretty cool though...very relaxed.

why dont you gu;ys have uniforms? guard and the band?

our band is gonna be that small this year. but yet we are in the biggest divison

We do have uniforms-- just at that point in time-- we didn't have enough uniforms. Last year we only had about eight people in guard-- and we grew a lot. So, we needed to order more uniforms and they haden't come in on time to take the picture.

you guys do have a very small band. my high schools band was literally about 8 times the size of that, if not bigger. not that it's a bad thing to have a small band though. bigger isn't necessarily better. ours was really great and won competitions all the time. but bigger doesn't always mean better though hehe
