WHICH H.S. DANCE TEM COMPETITION DO YOU THINK IS TH MOST FUN FOR THE KIDS? I have a begining dance team of 16. They are all wanting to do a competition for fun just to see what its all about, see other teams, and have a good time. No one on the team has any formal dance training, and there are only a total of 5 members who have been on the team for more then this year. It is a very small school and funds are very low as well. We are looking for a cometition that is fun and entertaining not just out for blood. We mainly need a competition that has a "novice" category where they still get judged and critique help but aren't penalized for having zero dance expirience. Anyone help? 3 Replies to COMPETITION? |

There are a bunch of good ones.
Stars National Dance Program
Show Stoppers
Hall of Fame
JUMP
Those are some of the big ones. But you don't have to go to a great big one to get the idea. Just pick one that is nearest you. If all your dancers are beginners - they will probably think they have landed in dancer eye candy land. The moves, the tricks, the glitz the glamore.
It will be fun for them. Save your money - pick one that close. |

The poster above me suggested comps that I think may be above your team's level. Perhaps she thought that your team would be simply attenting.
I great one for your girls to actually compete in would be the Jamz Dance & Cheer Comp! |
