My name is Ebony Thomas and I am 23 years old. I am in the process of opening my first dance school. I've been teaching liturgical dance for 3 years, but I've always been a dancer. My parents enrolled me in ballet classes at the age of 5 but didn't push me when I didn't want to go back---BAD MOVE! Now, I have no technical training but am looking in to taking a weeklong intensive in ballet.
Anyone have any suggestions on broadening my dance curriculum from merely liturgical and hiphop and modern? I'd really like to offer ballet, but I don't know anything about it.
