What was the brand of your first tennis raquet?

Mine was MTA Pro or something like that haha.

I just got my first one for my birthday. Its a Prince powerline. Its really nice, eventhough we got it when it was on sale when a store was going out of business and was the cheapest one there! I really like it... and every one on the team said it was really nice raquet. I have a question, while we're on the subject of raquets... Can you restring raquets or do you have to get a new one when the strings get loose, or break?

It was a Prince I think, but it was a hand-me-down from my brother. I got my first racquet of my own when I was about 8 and it was a Wilson.
And to the above poster, yes you can get racquets restrung. Just bring them to a specialist tennis shop. I'm sure they'd do it for you or point you in the direction of somebody who will.

My daughter just started playing when she was 14. Her first racquet - and she has the same now - is a Prince Triple Threat Hornet. She is on the varsity team now, and still really likes this racquet.
