Here is a great start up program, that will help you in about 8 weeks go from nothing to 3 miles. If you want to get those abs for the summer, running is the 2nd best form of ab workouts next to directly working out your abs. Since January ive gone from nothing to some real definition in the midsection and i couldnt even run 2 miles when i started now i am getting near 4 miles and have run 3 races. Hey i just came on here looking for stuff on running.
I recently did a 10K race but walked most of it and i now want to do another one but better myself and my time, this is great stuff thanks.

Thanks for that.. I just started tennis and we have to run... and I've never had a steady running workout. I 'll start it now.. and I'll be leaving for vacation after the 8th week... perfect!

Cool, i thought no one was ever going to reply to the post. Just checked it today for the first time in a while. Coolrunning.com has some GREAT online forums which are pretty active and can handle any questions you have. Good luck with your programs, ive got a 5k this weekend. It is going to be SOOO HOT, im really not feeling like im ready but i've already paid my 18 dollars haha.
