this is a picture of Matt McGrath from Louisville's toe touch. he's amazing. he can tumble amazingly as well. just thought i should post this picture. he's been my inspiration for my jumps for years. he's a really nice guy as well. so props to him.

yeah, by the way, i forgot to mention, he is not on a trampoline in this picture. a lot of people think that because you can't see the background in the picture, but i've seen him jump like that on regular mats in real life several times! he makes it look absolutely effortless too!

Yup, he is one of the best if not the best!!!! He makes it look like it's nothing, smiles and knows how to keep his head up too!

no kidding! haha! he's probably got about the highest jump of anyone i know, but i do know of guys that have jumps almost as high! they make me so jealous! jumping just comes so easy to them, so if they're flexible enough, they can have the most amazing toe touches!!!

haha yeah i'm pretty darn sure that is Matt. Looks like his face. haha he's kind of got a button nose lol! Not to mention the amazing jumps. And he's in red and black, which could either be Louisville or Gym Tyme Coed Open All-Star, which he's on both. So yeah, that's Matt. Where'd you find that picture?

by the way, all the guys behind him have nice jumps. either one of those two guys off his shoulder would probably be front center on most squads! haha unforunately for them, they're on a squad with matt mcgrath. lol, not really unfortunate at all though!! his tumbling is just as good as his toe touch!!
those girls' jumps aren't very good though!!! nice form, but very low.

and it is matt, because i looked back and it was a video of a lousiville competition that i froze and copied. i didn't make the connection at first because i've only seen a picture of him in the blue and white uniform.

and i completely agree about the girls jumps. it's funny how the girls are amazing tumblers but their jumps are average.

yeah, well even some of their girls aren't that amazing at tumbling. they have some that pretty much just stunt (and they are amazing at that haha). the whole squad is required to have a standing back tuck, but other than that, some of them just stunt. then they have guys like matt that are specialty tumblers.

wasnt he an all star cheerleader for cheer athletics in dallas texas? i was watching an NCA all star competition a while back (the competiton was in 2001 and i taped it) and they were talking about how he was the best cheerleader in the country and cheer athletics was competing so i wasnt sure if they were just mentioning him or if he was a cheerleader with CA in dallas.

yes, he was cheering then... i think he would have been a sophomore in high school then. (he was a grade above me in high school) and yes he cheered for Cheer Athletics. he also coached there and probably will coach there again after he graduates from Louisville

in fact, i think if you go to the CA website, he's still listed as a coach. i'm not sure, so don't hold it against me if he's not, but i think he is.

Hey girls Matt actually started with a team called Trojan Cheer Company in Grand Prairie back in 97 i think with his cousin shelby perkins...then shelby went to spirit of texas but he stayed with the trojans till they closed the doors (re-opened as pride allstars a year or two ago) after he left them he went to spirit of texas and cheered for their junior team and then junior coed and then their senior team. Then he went to Cheer Athletics after that and started coaching. But I have lost contact with him lately so I don't think he is coaching there any more...he cheers for gym tyme and i don't think that would go over very well because he was cheering with them on their open division and since he left i don't know what is going on...and as for the specialty stunting he did fly back when i cheered with him on trojans and was great!

Heh, for a secound, that almost looks like the guy who plays Sportacus in Lazytown, he's a big tumbler, too.

yeah he cheered for spirit of texas from 99-01 i believe and went to cheer athletics and also cheered for his high school called Martin High School in arlington texas after that...which is actually coached by Spirit of Texas.

Oh yeah and the last time I spoke with him he had 15 NCA national championship jackets...between the teams he has won with and winning the individual competition there. I wish he would just give me ONE!! : )

i dont understand what the up roar is all about over this pic. to me it looks like he is sitting against a wall with his legs touching and reaching forward.

i thought toe touchs were supposed to be just that TOE touches. where is the flexibilty???
