Hey Everyone!

Here's today's meeting and a couple of reminders.

-Please sign-up to be in the show in Rehearsal 1. Once I have everyone's sign-up confirmed, we can start showing individually in the club. After that, we'll get together an Opening Number and Finale and we'll post a show in the Stage Room. Sound good?

Here's today's question:

Who is your dance idol and why?

My dance idol is Melinda Sullivan, a tap dancer who is 17 yrs old. She is my dance idol because she is very young and she is successful. She inspires me to work hard, so maybe when I am her age, I can be as just a good tap dancer as she is. She has been on the show Star Search, and is part of an amazing tap group called, Tapsounds Underground.

Hmm I honestly don't know who my dance idol is! It would have to be this girl Christina I met at my first studio when my parents signed me up. She was in the back practicing and I just thought it was so beautiful and amazing that I knew then and there I wanted to be able to dance like her!

My dance idols aren't famous, they are disco dancers who i have seen at comps and just think are amazing!!

I love watching good dancers, i could watch them all day

Margot Fonteyn. Her life story just fascinates me. I also adore how she was a completely captivating dancer, and yet she didn't have the perfection of other dancers. She didn't have great feet, or an arabesque up to her ears. But, she danced beautifully, and told the story she had ben cast to tell.

I have several in the Ballet Magnificat company...I think Ballet Magnificat is amazing because the dancers are all wonderful and such strong Christians! They all dance for the Lord, and I think its amazing! I went to a dance camp there last summer and it was fabulous! -Liz

My dance idol is...well, actually I have 3: Kristin Chenoweth, even though she's not exaclty a dancer, Idina Mendez, who's on Broadway but started out as a dancer, and Anna Pavlova who I love!
