oh she's not on my squad. i just thought her toe touch was gorgeous. but my squad actually does have pretty good jumps. i mean i'm front center of the toe touches, but there are some other girls with very hyper-extended jumps. there was one girl who had pathetic jumps, but she had a really bad attitude and she faked her standing back tuck at nationals, so she was asked not to try out haha!

how can you fake a standing back tuck?

you mark it. you can set along with the squad but not do the actual flip/rotation. some teams have people in the back do tuck jumps to hide it.

exactly what she said haha! lol some of us were a little angry and we were kind of joking sarcastically about it and making fun of her later that night (she wasn't in the room) and the girl that touched down in her full was like "oh well, i'm not any better. i touched out of my full" and we were like "NOOOO WAY! that's so different! at least you ATTEMPTED it!!!" the girl who marked her standing back just swung her arms and tucked one leg, pretending to do her standing tuck, in the second row, middle of the cheer. grrr haha

Wow those are great...the uniform looks like a cheerathletics uniform too.

yeah, it does look like a CA uniform. you'd think a squad from Texas would avoid those colors so they don't look like copy *CAts* (pun intended haha!)

That is a really nice jump im like in love with it but one question how did you guys get them soo nice?? like im a cheerleader myself my jumps are ok but nothing like that i would really appreciate it if you( UCOtwistinBABE) could give me some tips on how you got yours soo pretty

She's already answered that question in this thread... practice practice practice!!! The only way to get jumps that good is sheer hard work... no quick fixes, sorry! lol

thank you cheerieanna! as she said, sweet sparkles, i already answered that. there are no secret tricks. you just have to work hard, practice often, and never slack off. it works in the long run. no quick fixes though, because there are none.

I know that is crazy but there was a team we competed against when I was on Spirit...and they had almost the same uniform and they were also Spirit but they were something else like Celebration or something like that!

ugh, that's so annoying. i cheered all-star at Cheer Dynamix, and you can't imagine how many wannabe's there are spelling it like "Cheer Dynamics" and they're red, black and white and the jags and everything! it's ridiculous. can't these people come up with their own origninal name, colors and mascot? haha

Your flexibility might be good, but your head is down. If you look up you jump might be even better. Give you more height

she does look up in her jumps, she had her head down in the pic because she was on the edge of a spring floor and didn't want to fall off

yeah, because it wasn't at my gym so i just stuck myself in the corner so i wouldn't be occupying all the space for the people who actually paid to take a tumbling class there haha!
