I'm 13, and when I was in 3rd grade I took Creative Movement. I was schroling through the forums and saw that creativemovement was under the adult category. Just curious.

I think it is because this section is mostly for people that teach this age level and type of dance. Obviously kids that take creative movement are mostly 3-6 year olds. They are probably not surfing the internet. hee hee.

There is actually quite a big interest in Creative Movement/Dance for adults. Barbara Mettler inspired quite a few people in her courses out at the Tucson Creative Dance Center. Barbara's work has been used in many venues, including being adapted for use as a mode of Expressive Therapy, a major that Lesley currently offers.

For more information about Mettler-based creative dance:

www.google.com . . .

There are actually quite a few groups that hold weekly dances for adults.

Shadow.
