I just started playing rugby this year, but it is a lot of fun! I noticed that a lot of girls on my team also danced which I thought was cool! Anyone else out there play rugby?

I don't play it (don't you know thats dangerous?)

But I do watch a lot of rugby, theres so many hot boys that play it! (mm dan carter)

And I also like the sport, but am too much of a wuss to play really. I watch Super 12 and test matches and also the NPC (provincial rugby)

Its a lot of fun!!

OH I love love rugby. Watched super 12 and trinations, now they're showing the British Lions tour of New Zealand which is sure to be fun to watch.
I play touch rugby and sometimes contact, but I've never competed in contact rugby. Played rugby all through my Secondary school and Junior College, but I only get to play tournaments once a year in University. Wish I could play more!
Oh yeah, the past 2 years my faculty won the inter-facutly touch-rugby competitions at my university. The last match, I scored the last 2 winning trys!
I miss rugby lots.

Yup I'm glad too. Tried to play club rugby, but the coach drove me up the wall. Another club asked me to play with them, but I decided to stick to dance, hardly have time. Which country do you play in?

I play in the US. I am with a club team, I was lucky enough to get coaches that don't hide anyhthing, or choose favorites or anything like that. I have two coaches and they are fair and easy to get along with. Our season in over now and lately I have been dancing so much more becuase I feel do deprived from rugby because I haven't played in two weeks! Selected people from my team though are playing in New Zealand this week which is awesome on my point of view!

OMG I want to play rugby SOOOO bad!!! But the closest youth girls league is 6 hrs. away in upstate NY (i live in CT). But I love watching it on Fox Soccer Channel- I

I play rugby and have watched alot of it over the last couple of years. i myself play in the centres or on the wing. i try to be like my favourite player tana umaga.

it is so much fun and would recommend anyone give it a go girls and guys. even if you play touch it is still fun

I play..i started last year during school and im playing summer league now. I love how people are like" wow you must be pretty hardcore to be a dancer and a rugby player" lol its like theyve never heard of it before! I play flanker by the way.

I did two years ago. On the field with my hair in a bun for ballet class right after. But one game a girl wasn't coached right on how to tackle, so she tackled me the wrong way..and my knees been screwed up ever since. It's a fun game though

I plyed rugby for three years and had kind of a love hate relationship whit it. The thing i loved about it was the the running, tactics and teamspirit, but i allways failed to see how the mucho attitude could bring value to any aspect of the game, nor its necsesity.

But as dancer, are you not afraid you hurt your legs? Eventually i quit because ot hamstring problems.

I've been watching it since I was 10 and now I'm going to a school where they have a rugby team and I'm trying to decide if I want to try out. The thing is I've never played it before...soo. Now it's question time for me! So I know the rules and everything I just don't know how to tackle properly and all that jazz, so if you do get into a high school team, do they teach you these right aways or you expected to know these things? I really don't know so if I could get your guys help with this, that would be awesome!
