I think LovinLyrical5678 is right. The original song was I'm A Woman..."Cause I'm a woman....W-O-M-A-N." Then the lyrics were slightly retooled from the male point of view. I think it was sung by Sammy Davis Jr.
help, need a song

i have this great group of dancers who are around 10-12 yrs old. They have always had the crowd pleasing dance, and the pressure is on this year to find something to top our other dances. they need something cute but not baby-ish, with a little attitude. something not too terribly overused.
please help me!

I think I'd like to dance to:

Lenny Kravitz - Lady
Maria Mena - Shadow
Lifehouse - Storm
Britney Spears - Do Somethin'
Ashanti - Don't Let Them
Amerie - 1 Thing

Maybe they're not all superb to dance to but I think it would be a lot of fun!!!
xoxo

Charmed Life - ?
Ain't Nobody - Shaka Khan
Conga - Gloria Estefan

I personally like a lot of acoustic and acapella songs.. to me, they are almost a relief after the repetitive backbeat of every single jazz song out there. One of the best songs I've heard lately is Fill Me In (live acoustic) by Craig David.. it has a lot of great accents with just the guitar and his voice!

I think the song "These Hazel Eyes" by Kelley Clarkson would be a good jazz song. Also the song "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Louis.

Our troupe did the song "Move your body" this year, it was great. i'll try and think of some more later.

There's a song I heard at a competition last year but I don't know who sings it. I think its called "The Business of Love" I think that's what it is. If you know the person who sings it that would be a lot of help because i really want to choreograph to that song. Thanks for the help

Try "Fever" by Ella Fitzgerald (or Michael Buble), "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai, Higher Ground by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Old Time "Rock n Roll" by Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band, Or "Candy" by Mandy Moore

My favorite is probably "Holding Out For A Hero" by Jennifer Saunders. The all-popular "You can't stop the beat" is also great, though.
