Mama's Room - Under the Influence of Giants

It's different than most jazz songs, but it got our group 1st place at competition, and it's so much fun and really easy to choreograph to. If you're looking for something that will stand out, then this will totally fit that.

I just heard the song called "Secret" off of Missy Higgins new CD, "On A Clear Night" and I think it would make such a cool dance. It's slower, but very sassy and would be awesome!!

In my recital, the intermediate level did Buenos Aires by Madonna from Evita for their Jazz dance. It actually turned out pretty nice.

'Mein Herr' from Cabaret is a great one, also 'Whatever Lola Wants' from Damn Yankees (they have an original and a remix. you'd find the remix, on Verve Remixed). 'Is You or Is You Ain't' could work too, and 'Too Darn Hot' by Sara Garzarek.

Let me know if these helped, or if you need anything else.
:)

lesha13, there are a lot of people who sing "Fever." There's versions by Peggie Lee and Elvis I know. But, I personnally think the best version of "Fever" is the one by Michael Buble`. Especially for Jazz.
