There is no rule for slow on dress ...you can wear whatever you please
This has always been the rule and until all competitions use the graded system for slow [which is up to the descretion of the organiser [it does not have to be split into grades]it will not chamge as it would mean differing rules for different comps

i also find this pretty annoying as these kids should be moving up to give others a chance of losing their lives! it should be the same rules for every one!

my daughter dances u6 beginners and i think every time you go to comps there are different rules regarding their costumes! most times nothing is said then all of a sudden the promoter is stoping some kids from dancing its not fair as the parents dont really no were they stand!

can someone clear up the rule on beginners and tell me why dancers arnt disqualified for wearing arm and leg bands in beginners. i thought this was not allowed as surely they would be classed as an add on to a costume. and are genie pants allowed

A lot of people are wondering if the new 'absolutely no make-up' rule for u6 and u8 dancers from January 2011 includes the use of fake tan??? Also does it include glitter spray?
Please could you clarify this asap
Thanks

Can anyone tell me if tan is compulsory?? My daughter is an under 10 beginner and has the most beautiful skin colour (porcelein white & perfect). Also at times fake tan gives her a dermatitis type rash. Thanks
