Alright, we seem to have two problems in this forum lately:
1)Negativity. I don't care who you've got a rivalry with or why, keep it off the boards. Use the Thumper rule - "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
2)Netspeak. Quedance made a thread about how negative the forum was, and by the time we got done removing posts that were either negative, or had netspeak, the thread had been obliterated!
Negativity is bad news. No one wants to read it, and life is to short for it. Mod report it.
Netspeak is bad news. It's against dance.net rules and you can actually be permanently banned from the site for using it. Mod report it.
Please don't worry that your bothering us with the mod button. Without you using it, we don't know that theres a problem, and we're not going to solve it.
But, on the same token, when you mod report, be patient.
We don't always get to the reports right away (we do have lives, you know! Haahaa!), and we don't always react to them. If we don't react to it, that means that either:
1)We're discussing the post, and what to do about it
2)We don't agree that it's against the rules/rude, whatever else...
So, be patient, but please mod report, mod report, mod report!

I'm new too but I'm pretty sure netspeak is when you dont spell things properly or reasonably properly - like h8 instead of hate. I'm not 100% certain though, someone correct me if I'm wrong. The 'mod' is a button near the reply button on a post, and you click it when you think a correlating post has broken the rules of the site. The moderators - or the rule-keepers - of the site are alerted and decide whether or not to remove the comment.
