My name is Andrea and I just turned 25. I grew up in eastern MA, north of Boston and began dancing at age 3. I studied tap, ballet, jazz and lyrical until I was 14. I've always loved to dance and choreograph so I was heavily involved with cheerleading in HS. I went to UMass and started to dance again and the year after I graduated I applied for a dance teacher position at a studio and got the job! This is going to be my 3rd year teaching and I'm excited to say that this year a friend and I are opening a studio together. Actually, it opens in Sept. and I'm very excited and nervous. If any studio owners have some advice I would love it. I enjoy reading about all of you and appreciate you sharing your experiences. Keep dancing!
