Hello everyone, I apologize for the delay, but school starts next week for me and preparations are tedious and time consuming. But lets get started with a brief warm-up and jump right in -

25 jumping jacks
10 push-ups
15 crunches
10 leg stretches (keep leg straight and swing up and down) [both legs]

Lunge stretch
Butterfly stretch
Seated torso twists

Okay, now we're going to work on a target. I need two lines, one in front of each wave bag. This is what we're gonna do:

*Start with left foot forward, hands in a guarding position
Raise your front leg [left] referred to as #1 and do a front kick waist high. Follow up with a punch chin level, and a punch to the solar plexus with a ki-hap. So thats...

Front leg #1 front kick
Punch high to the chin
Punch low to the solar plexus and yell!

- We're going to that ten times. So everyone has to go through their line ten times! Ya got it? Lets go!

Alright, now that we're done with that drill, we'll move on to another. This one you're going to start with your right leg forward and do a #1 [right] side kick. Now, with a sidekick you're aiming at the ribs and your foot is horizontal. Its alright to lean sideways to get your leg where it needs to be. You want to be striking with your heel to the ribs. After that sidekick, you're going to do an elbow strike with the back of your elbow to the chin and a punch with the other hand to the solar plexus. So...

*Begin with your right foot forward
#1 [right] side kick
Right elbow to the chin
Left punch to solar plexus and kihap*yell

Do that another 10 times and we'll do one last drill before we break boards...

*Begin with left foot forward
#1 [left] side kick
Left elbow to the chin
Right punch the nose or throat [alternate]
Back leg #2 [right] front kick and kihap*yell

Do this drill 7 times and then its graduation time!

Everyone have a seat on the floor in a circle. One by one, I'll call you up and you'll break your board doing the technique I tell you to do.

First up...

Arwen! I want you to do a side kick :)

Next...

Emma, you'll do a front kick.

Maggie, I'll have you do a sidekick also.

Nicola, do a front kick.

Staci, do an elbow.

Lauren, do an elbow, also.

Angela, a front kick

And Taylor, you do an elbow.

Now, once each of you posts, I'll present you with the signed boards that you broke :)
