Dude, yes!! I just got my theraband and I've been looking for good exercises to do.
Thank you!!
And to answer the previous question, the pilates band and the theraband are pretty much the same because they both provide a good resistance needed for strenghtening. |

Just got my medium-strength Theraband in the mail today. I'm hoping to gradually strengthen my vulnerable ankles to prevent injury. This post is going to be very helpful! Thanks so much for posting. |

FABULOUS! Thanks so much for all the great guidance. I have been using a Theraband since an ankle injury some years ago, and love it, but have never tried many of these exercises. This is a GREAT to have so many new things to try! |

I don't quie understand this :Standing Leg Curls: Standing upright near a wall with hands on the wall, place the theraband in a circle around the bottom of your left foot/shoe and your right ankle(tie ends in a knot. you’ll want to make the circle a smaller one for more resistance.) Slowly curl your right lower leg up towards the ceiling until it is parallel with the floor. Pause and slowly return to original position. Do 10 repetitions on each leg. This exercise is a great hamstring strengthener.
What does it mean "plarallel to the floor" what should your leg look like ??
Also I don't understand this: Hold each end of the theraband in one hand in front of you... does this mean hold both ends in just the one hand? Please help! I just want to be sure ! |
