I noticed a lot of posts on here lately that ask "I need a song for lyrical!" or "Whats a good song for a duet Jazz?!" and on some forums they have a song list to help you guys out. It might also prevent the clutter on this board (posts move to the 2/3 page in less than a day)

People post other forms of discussions and a lot of people don't even get the chance to read them because they are pushed down so quickly! Be considerate and look around the rest of DDN first.

It is pretty annoying when people are posting looking for songs to do a dance to when there are already 500 million other threads on the same subject!! ( for example, just on the first page there are about 15 looking for a lyrical song) So thank you so much for posting this!, hopefully people will realize there is a better way to find music

no affense to you all but I like the threads asking for songs and I am sorry if they bug you but they are just trying to get a personalised song that suits them and that is origional. I have to admit I have just made one looking for a lyrical song and I am sorry if that bothers you but I would really apprieciate it if you would read it and respond.

I don't want to offend anybody. I'm looking for a lyrical song, so I went on the lyrical thread, but I'm not quite sure I like the set up. I'm looking for a specific lyrical song; one that you would dedicate to a deceased loved one. But that thread only offers limited choices. I mean there are a lot of songs, but I'm not sure if any of them fit the specifics I'm looking for. I hope I'm not offending anyone, but that's just how I feel.

I agree that a Musical theatre/Broadway link would be helpful as well. those are the songs I always find most difficult to come up with new and fresh ideas for. Also, a mini Hip Hop, since most Hip Hop suggestions have swearing or sexual references.
