I went on songmeanings.net and typed in "Knights of Cydonia" because it really bothers me that I don't know what the words mean, whether they're anti-religion or anti-government or about a certain historical figure. I'm even more confused now, because someone was saying that Cydonia is a place on Mars, and someone else is saying it's about ancient Greece, and another saying that it represents the apocalypse.

It's important to check out song meanings as well as the lyrics. Many songs have clean lyrics but not the best meanings or messages.
