I've had dresses similar to that, but it had a full skirt. Most traditional skating dresses don't have an open skirt in the front. It's a gorgeous color blue though and I love the sparkles.

Ooh pretty! I love sparkles! Unfortunately the lady that usually makes my skating dresses doesn't do sparkles. 'Put them on yourself' she says . I'm gonna look online for nice dresses.

Hi this would make a lovely skating dress

we have dresses like this for Modern dance numbers as I think this one was made for looking at the Charactor shoes worn by the model

I have seen many skating dresses in competitions with a similar style ie the no skirt at the front especially for Ice Dance it is very appropriate
