I need a CD full of good warming up songs that I can listen to before a competition! Does anyone have any ideas?? I cant really think of anything right now!!
But an update on my solo! I cut my own music! There are 2 songs in it. He's a Pirate and Moonlight Serenade from Pirates of the Caribbean!

A warm up before a competition can be a very personal thing - are you trying to relax? Are you trying to get pumped up? If you give us an idea of what music you're into and what type of music you're looking for we can better help you :)

Wow, I have so many warmup cds with music that I love to get pumped up to. Here's a list of some of my favs, maybe you'll like them too:

From the Cutting Edge soundtrack:
Groove Master, by Arrow
Big Time, by Peter Gabriel
Ride on Time, Black Box

From the Ice Princess soundtrack:
No One, by Aly & AJ (not really pump up music, but inspirational for skating)
Reach, by Caleigh Peters
There Is No Alternative, by Tina Sugandh
If I Had It My Way, by Emma Roberts
Get Up, by Superchick

Others:
Number One, by Lifeboy
Live Your Dreams, from the Save the Last Dance soundtrack
Canned Heat, by Jamiroquai
Starry Eyed Surprise, by Paul Oakenfold
Sweetness, by Jimmy Eat World
Take Me Away, Fefe Dobson
Get Over It, by OK Go
Be My Escape, by Relient K
Sugar We're Going Down, by Fallout Boy
Dirty Little Secret, by All American Rejects

There's a few for ya! :)

Definitely look into the Gorillaz...also some Jellyfish, Fishbone, Hot Hot Heat, Daft Punk, The Zutons, Dangermouse, Mos Def, Muse....oh man I could go on forever - but the list I gave you is ALL over the place in terms of genres.
