I agree with Ursula! Short attention spans!

Noodlesluke, I read the whole thing and found it to be fascinating. Thanks for answering that question.

I think some of you are being a little rude. The poster must have taken a lot of time to post this and it was very considerate to post for people who have no idea what disco is (like myself). Maybe some of you got bored because you already know all of that, but some people visit these boards and wanted some clarification of what disco is. So anyway, thanks for the info, it all makes a lot more sense now, and everyone please be considerte of other people's work.

I can't get the point of these people who ask for shorter versions. So you don't have the patience to read it all, huh? But does she have the patience to resume it and make it the way you like? I mean, the girl takes some time to give you people some accurate and complete informations and you're all saying it's too long to read. Well, the problem is does not reside in her, but in those people who don't want to read. She wrote what she thought to be convenient. Those who don't want to read don't have to say nothing, either.
How come it's too long? How do you do with books and magazines (if you ever read anything)? How do you do in school? Sheesh...

May Terpsichore guide your steps.
VALE!

Wow, that's so interesting. I thought Disco had died. I did Disco dancing in the UK from when I was about 5 until I was about 10 and I did many exams / caberets / competitions in that time. Then we moved to Australia and I don't know of dance schools that teach Disco here in Oz. I now do Jazz and Classical. I remember Disco as being sort of like Jazz without the flexibility and ballet-like turns and jumps with a little bit of funk mixed it. But then, I was only 10 when I finished. Thanks for the info!! Does anybody know if the Ace Dance Centre is still going in Nuneaton (England)?

Hi Hayze123, I didn't think it would be. I haven't lived there since I was about 8 years old but I danced there for about 4 years (I'm now 24). I now live in Australia and have little memory of Nuneaton! But I still have my awards from there through the Disco Dance Teachers Association. Ah, those were the days... :D
