Hey,
thank you VERY much for writing that down, because I have (had) absoloutly NO idea what the heck disco was. I am also amazed at the people who are to lazy to read through it all, yet post that they could only read the first line?

BalletGirl, I agree with you, what do those people do in school when they are asked to read a history book about the civil war or something? Ask the teacher to paraphrase it into 2 sentences? And have they ever written a 2000 word essay? *grins* ah well. Thank you Noodlesluke! also, congratulations about not responding in the way I would to 2/3 of the people who responded to your post. hehehe

Thank you for writing all that up. I didn't really know anything about disco and I was always curious so thank you for informing me! Disco sounds like great fun! Unfortunately I don't think it exists in Australia, I would love to see some. But your post gave me an idea of what it would be like. I just have one question, what sort of music is generally used? Is it still whatever's in the charts?

Thank you again.

Thanks for the post. I'm having terrible insomnia this evening and decided to surf the parts of dance.net I don't normally visit and saw the photos and became insatiable curious. I am still a little confused a couple of things though...

Do the different ages/levels/etc perform on the floor at the same time like ballroom or is it a solo performance with their own music or is it both?

I saw that you have duets, do you also have teams?

What type of music is used? 1970's disco? Modern tunes? anything?

The org. post stated that it mainly turns, kicks, jumps and splits... is it more technique or show?

AS for those of you who stated it was boring or took forever to type... I hate to see you in college... it's going to kill you.
