My deepest condolences on the loss of your son. I cannot imagine that type of pain and I am impressed by your emotional fortitude and outlook on life.
Amongst other things, I was draw to your posting because I also studied in the trainee program at Joffrey, and have recently relocated from Manhattan to Philly. Is your studio on the Philly area? Can you give me any tips about the dance scene here, such as good ballet teachers, classes, etc?
As a Pilates instructor, I am used to working with professional dancers and have also taught ballet-however, since moving here, I can't figure out where all the dancers are? It seems only wealthy baby boomers take Pilates- areal change from NYC.
Any advice would be much appreciated for a homesick ex-Manhattanite!
