Hi every1. I was just wondering if anybody on dance.net swims competitively AND dances??? I do!!!

I like swimming, but I don't do it competitively, I save that for my dancing. I'm too busy to do both competitively I was going to when I was younger, but I had to make a decision between them.

LOL. I dance, and I'm going to swim competitivly, but before I join the swim team, I have to complete a Junior Lifeguard chorus. (I don't know why, but it's a requirment.) I think that's stupid but.. NEXT SUMMER I CAN GET A JOB AS A JUNIOR LIFEGUARD AT A POOL!!! So, I'll get paid, which is awesome. And, I'll be swimming competitivly. It's cool to know that other people on DDN swim and dance.

i have been competing in swimming for years (since i was like 8) and in the lastyear and a half i have been competing in dance

i dance competitively. i teach dance and i also teach swimming. it's so fun. i love both of my teaching jobs equally but i chose to comptete with dance over swimming because it is what im more passionate about

Im a competitive triathlete, which includes swimming as well as do ballet!

Wow! my mum's a trialthlete! Are you old enough to do an ironman? they are so tiring but i applaud averyone who finishes!

I dance and I've been on a swim team every summer since I was 4!

i did waterpolo, swimming and dancing, but i had to choose what to continue with so i chose dancing which is my passion. i miss it though.

i sure compete in swimming... im a flyer and im addicted to the 500! swimming and dance are the greatest! good luck!

I swim competatively and I do jazz, hip hop ,and ballet.I also have done synchronized swimming( water ballet), which i might add is one of the hardest sports I've ever competed in.

I DO!!!! WOOHOO! Yes I swim competivley(only because the coach is making me!) But it is a lot of fun! Although I don't dance competivley..oh well! But I dive also!!

yes and i think it is great i love swimming and Dancing i dont know what i would do if i had to choose between the two does anyone play H2O Polo? thats great to if you've never played it is great to enhance your mucles

I do both, but neither competitively!
I used to swim competitively, but I stopped, and now I do it mainly for the excercise. I started ballet fairly old (13), but only recreationally.
But I do loads of other activities, too.

i just joined the swim team at my school. we have practice everyday from 2-3:30 and then we get home about 4. When i get home i have to leave at 4:30 on tuesdays and 4:45 on thursdays to dance. ON thursdays i have 2 dance classes though. Pretty tiring but i will manage. many people do.

Well i used to swim competitively but not anymore! I've never swum and danced at the same time actually since i've kind of only started dancing recently. But yeah swimming n dancing are great! I just prefer dancing cos swimming gets quite boring for me after my level just plateaus (sp?) off and there's not much to learn anymore! But I still swim for fum/to let off steam etc. It's great to sprint!!!

hi yep jenni is a competitive swimmer and has been in a club since she was 5
she is a competitive disco dancer since she was 5
she has just started syncro and cross country running no idea how we fit it all in but we do

jens 1st love is her swimming but her dancing is a very close 2nd. she competes in both able boddied and disability events as she has dyspraxia and learning delay and does very well

i think they all complement each other as they work on stamina and muscle tone so i will encourage her to continue for now

I have done swim for 2 years now and I just made my junior high dance team!

I dnace and swim, thought I don't do either competitively. I do synchronized swimming, and I hope to do it competivly next year.

I do synchronized swimming but I also swim for my school team. I dance too but not competitively or in shows. My friend and I just go to some classes because we find it fun... and tiring!

I swim and Dance

yeah, in the end of the summerholydays i will do both. but my swim training (i do 2 kilometres ones or twice a week) i just a training for my arms and for triathletics (is this right, i am not a native speaker?!), but i really enjoy it.

my friend from school hannah swims on the weekdays and dances on the weekend so shes always busy! xox-kittymoo-xox

I just joined my school's swim team. I like it a lot so far, but it's really tiring. We have a meet in three weeks, and I'm really excited but scared too! I also dance, but not competitively, although our whole dance school does go to at least one competition every year.

I really want to, I just don't have enough money to join, and dance. DAnce is pretty much my favorite thing though.
