I really want to, I just don't have enough money to join, and dance. DAnce is pretty much my favorite thing though.

i did swim competitively AnD dance. but then i hurt my back and I had to pick ONE to do competitively. So dance got picked naturally. I havent swam for a while though cos i dont want to hurt my back again!!
I have a lifesaving certificate too... but dance kinda takes over my life!! hehe not that i mind

I just started swimming after a four year break and i'm loving it. just last week i got my assisant lifeguard citificate. (sp??) next week i'm starting my job at the local Ymca and i will be a assisant teacher for swim lessons. so to awncer your question:

yes i do swim and dance.

I do neither. I swim in backyard pool. ;D and i used to dance.

I like to dance alot and play football and basketball right now im working on going out for my track team =)

I just started swimming again cause I don't have dance during the summer. I just had a meet for the first time in like 4 years and I now have 4 lovely ribbons (incluiding a blue yay!) Hanging in my locker!

Yep, i do. mainly in the summer, but for like 3 years i did it year-round, and its to crazy, so i swim in the summer on 2 competitive teams. I dance year-round too. I find swimming helps with my flexibility, strength, and endurance.

All through elementary, middle, and high school I swam competitively for a club team and for my high school team once I entered high school. I also was on the high school dance team and we competed, and I took multiple classes outside of school.

It was really busy, and I did have to make sacrifices, but it was really fun. You just have to balance your schedule to make room for homework and a social life!

Well, I swam competitivly since I was like 2 or something, but I have loose joints and got major shoulder injuries after 2 years of pain got told Im not allowed to anymore. So then I started dancing, in which my joint flexibility will help me, not stop me..
So not at once, but have done both lol

my daughter goes swimming she recentley took her 2500 metres badge. She also does baton twirling, ballet, jazz, brownies and she has also done cross country for the school the last 2 weeks.
My son also swims but rather than dance he plays under 8s football.

I wasnt allowed to swim when I was competing in highland dancing but my dad would sneak me there and back before my mum got in from work.My teacher could tell if I had been swimming and as i teach myself now i can also tell if any of my pupils have been too!.They say dancing and swimming dont go together but I had very strong lungs for keeping going at a championship and it didnt do me any harm not even now they are still strong

i only dance but i do know about 2 or 3 that do both activities

omg! wow yeah i swim competitively and dance competitively! my WIAA division 1 state meet for swimming was last weekend and just today i marched in a parade for dance! thats so cool that someone else swims and dances

How would you make time for both. I only do dance and I have had to give up so many other activities for it!! But I do like the occassional swim :)

ive been swimming since i was a baby, and dancing ballet ect since i was 3-4 ish.

i find swimming tones you alot and gves you good core, arm and leg muscles... great for dance

also increases your endurance!!

I swim competitivly over the summer and dance all the other time i'm not swimming. I love it so much, I wish I could do it more but I think I'm too obsessed with dance.
