whenever i think popping, i think that cut thats on the biggie cd - life after death (track - going back to cali). im not sure the name and producer of the track but its prob a remix for that cd. if you guys know the details of the original hook it up.

much appreciated invent, as always, and wacky NY

i was at a battle recently and they were playing a lot of funk songs i didnt know, and i had the battles on tape, so i searched for lyrics and i came up with one song.

these are the songs they used
Parliament -
Atomic Dog
Not Just Knee Deep
Cameo - Candy
Zapp and roger - i can make you dance
what do you think of these songs for a battle?

there was one memorable move on the battle with atomic dog, where to the point where the song actaully went "atomiiiiic doooog" he did a backslide, popped down onto hands and knees and crawled forwards a bit. crowd went crazy.

in the battle where they used not just knee deep, there was a samoan guy and an asian guy, late 30s, against 2 asian guys probably only just barely 20. and in the first part of not just knee deep.... right after theyre just going "woooaaahooohooo" in the intro, for the "huh!" they just jumped and did a pose while the other guy was dancing. he got shamed pretty bad, 'cause the audience didnt watch one of his better moves.

and there was one other slow funk song, the lyrics sounded like "i'll be good" on the hook, some lady singing it...
and another line that goes "you know i'll love you more" or something. do you know them?

thanks guys
