My name is Markena Brawner. I am from Chicago and I have been dancing since I was nine years old, I am currently 24. I have received training in Ballet, jazz, african, hip-hop, latin, modern and lyrical dance. I teach part-time at the moment at three different studios and my full time position is as a paralegal. I don't how I fit it all into my schedule. I teach 6 classe per week, in the evening and Saturday morning. In addition to that some friends and I have started a performing company here in Chicago and I rehearse for that two days out the weeks. In addition to preparin for class and trying to squeeze in a class or two per week, I barely have time for anything else.
But I love me kids, I do look forward to breaks though so I can have some me time, but in the mean time this is what works.
