Hi There

I think everyone is getting a little confused here, it is perfectly within the rules for a sponsered dancer to sell their sponsored outfits on dance net as long as the money that is paid for the costume goes to the designer, and obviously the usual rules regarding stating of dancer and sponsor in same in same post are adhered to

Hope this helps

The sponsored costumes do look better when advertised on a dancer. At least everyone can see how big the costume is when they know who the dancer is! I suppose rules are rules!!!!

I have seen people post when selling their sponsored cosi,
Their photo, name & designer & often wondered if they know this,

Thanks for making this all clearer for us!
Regarding the comment 'are we supposed to guess the designer'
No you just PM & ask,luv Ellisha/Lizz.xx

PS Would just like to add all proceeds from sale do go straight to the designer.

Hi
I am very new to this and after reading this post i checked out the first page of costumes for sale and there was three with the sponsored wording !!!
This is wrong by your own words and yet you are doing nothing about it
WHY ????
Rules are rules and people who are breaking them are being allowed to get away with it !!!

^^ Maddancer4. There is nothing wrong with advertising a sponsored costume for sale. As long as there is no personal gain. Usually the dancer's sponsor will ask the dancer to sell their costume for them and money is retunded to the sponsor.

You are not allowed to put your name /photo and your sponsors name in a for sale post
Here is the ADFP rule on this

The ADFP are also concerned that some sponsored costumes being sold on dance.net are clearly advertising that the costume is sponsored and give both dancers name or picture of dancer in costume and costume maker. This is strictly not allowed as per ADFP rules and the ADFP will be monitoring this site closely in future in order to bring this practice to an end.

So all these Ads with both the above details together are against ADFP rules
