Great post. This is very helpful, as we have recently moved up to intermeadiate doubles. One of our mums made us a costume, and brought the stones from Janine. These came quite quickly and are good quality. However as it is with all stones they did cost quite a lot, so its good to have different options to buy them from. Great post.

I am wanting to remove some stones - but don't want to damage the costume.
I saw that an earlier post said to soak the costume in boiling water for 1/2 an hour to soften the glue. Is this safe for the costume?

One useful thing I have just ordered is a Swarovski stone chart from 247 dancewear. It shows the sizes you can buy and gives an example of each colour. It only costs £4.99 and will be really useful if you want to use coloured stones and not just crystal.

It's it very useful to read you guys' posts. Does anyone know how to stick crystal on your hair as I have seen in a lot of comps especially Blackpool, dancers really know how to decorate their hair with crystals or accessories.

Hobbeycraft sell stones if you have one near you. They normally come in small packs of 10 but are about £3.00, lots of colours.
