I got stones from the viva Rose web site, found them very reasonable I used gem tack glue only ONE or TWO stones fell off when I washed the costume.

hello i wanted to know the same thing someone told me to use eye lash glue. but its almost impossible to remove the glue marks afterwords

Wow! Good advice. Ive just started to stone my daughters slow suit and this post has really helped. I got my stones from ebay, a seller called the bead barrel. They're quite cheap stones as my daughter hasnt actually done a comp yet and i didnt want to splash out on expensive ones. I will when i know she's serious about it

Great post very usefull :D i use bijoudancewear.co.uk and just discovered very reasonabily priced swarvorski stones on vivarose too gemtac is the only glue i have tried so far . Could anyone give me any advice on how to apply the glue on yourself stones without the mess and fiddling around plzz all help appriciated :D thank you xx

I am a new member. Just wondering about stoning. Is is best to hot fix or best to glue. Anyone got any recommendations for decent stones. Would like to bling some of the wee ones stuff myself - see how I get on. Thanks

Great advice, could somebody recommend some sort of 'tweezer' to pick up the stones as I find it impossible with my nails,

Great post, thank you. I also use Ebay there are some great reputable shop sellers on there. As already mentioned, I avoid buying from HK or other non UK seller.

I use a syringe to put my glue on costumes as you can control the glue better. Push the syringe to put the glue on then pull the plunger back to stop the flow. You can buy different gauges of needles for the syringe.
