This position is absoloutly anazing,i wish i could do that because iu do disco dancing and that would look amazing is i had that in my spot.Ellisha.x

yes, two of them have a bandage at the knee, but it's perhaps for they will not have an injury.

If everyone with a (knee)bandage would have an injury half the world would be injured ;)

It's sometimes done as protection for a weaker bodypart or because they once were injured and protecting the knee coming out of injury.

Artistic gymnasts often use tape or bandage to protect former injuries or support a certain bodypart. A lot of them use wristbandage to support their wrists during floor exercises.
In RG you are (or you were at least don't know how the rules are today) barely allowed to wear a bandage for an injury. It had to be fleshcolour and they prefered if you didn't wear it for competition.

I don't like this kind of photo (the hoop one) it is not RG, it is circus, I don't wish all RG gymnasts will be like that in the future.

Why? You don't even need insane flexibility to perform this position. I'm pretty sure many oldschool gymnasts could perform this as well, you just need to "invent" it
