I don't understand what that actually has to do with cheerleading.

That looks like no kind of cheerleading I've ever done.

hiya girls.... welll i cheerlead over in England, i dont know were you two are from? this was taken at a photoshoot we had, the picture are put into match day programmes at each home game, they are also making a calender with the photos. not all the pictures were tan on the bike there were lots of grop ones and others... hope this helps you understand... em xxx

I'm also failing to see the relevance to cheerleading... except for setting us back about 50 years in our quest to be taken seriously as athletes!

also, please don't insinuate that that is what all 'cheerleading' in Britain is like... I cheer and coach (allstar) in england. We compete. We stunt and tumble. We don't do photo shoots on motorbikes!!!

I guess there's a big difference in what you and I define as cheerleading.

Righto... have you heard the word "sponsorship" before? If they have to do a photo shoot on motorbikes to fulfill contractual agreements with sponsors than so be it.

Now if I had a choice between a photo shoot for a sponsor or bagging groceries/car wash/bottle drive/anything else, I'd do the photo shoot (as long as it wasn't anything too degrading).

Yes, but this girl's team don't compete, and I don't think they stunt or tumble. I think cheerieanna was offended because they do photo shoots on motorbikes, but just dance at rugby games, when lots of people are trying to get cheerleaders to be taken seriously as athletes who work hard and compete.

RE: everyone elce, i did not bracket all cheerleading in the UK to be like this, and i no for a fact it is'ant!... i was mearly showing you some photos that i had had taken at a photoshoot (for are sponsor!) we dont compete but we cheer at rugby league matches, we are called a cheerleading squad as we cheer on are team... lol i am sorry if the fact we dont do comp's offends anyone but thats just what we do! and i no way at all did i try to make cheerleading/ cheerleders be taken less seriously as atheletes! ( why on earth would i do that to myself???) dos'nt make sence!
